Coles Southern Style Chicken Tenders

Anyone know the nutritional info for these or whether they are any good?

They are ******* delicious. Reminds me of a mix between good old fashioned chicken cutlets and kfc boneless chicken breast.

I'm not sure if they are baked or fried. They have grill marks, but they also taste like they are fried.

They are $22/kg. Not all coles have them.

Awesome, thanks for that.

Where did you get that from? I tried googling it and couldn't find the nutritional info on it.

I'm surprised they don't have it on the container...

I still wonder if they are fried or not...

MyFitnessPal is definitely a necessity for me these days, great app!

$22/kg? Bit pricey for me.. Usually get their sweet chili tenders from the deli which are a bit cheaper.

I think those sweet chili tenders are processed chicken meat, but I could be wrong. These ones are pure breast fillet.

Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but they are ******* delicious are already cooked and prepared etc. I don't know where you can get cooked chicken breast (that's tasty) on the go for any cheaper. You can get tenderloins from nando's, but they are $9 and you'd probably only get about 250g tops, so that's $36/kg.

I don't have them very often these days, mostly if I forget to pack something to work or if I just want a quick and easy protein hit. One pack only costs about $4, so it's not that bad.

Yeah they definitely are, I don't mind too much during a bulk though - especially when I'm aiming for ~6000 calories a day.

I did get crumbed tenderloins that weren't processed not long a go and they were something like $18/kg. Definitely worth it if they fit into your budget, really good on a wrap/pizza.\

Ever considered making your own? Just buy tenderloins/breast fillets and some packet crumbing. I did it once and chucked in some paprika and a few other things and they were great. Also dipped them in some southwest sauce a few times

I'm sure I could do it cheaper by myself, but $4 for a ready to go, high protein snack is hard to pass up... If I did it myself, it would probably cost me $3 instead, but a hell of a lot more effort.

Not sure, these ones are straight from the hot meal section, already prepared. They probably do sell them in store, I've never bothered checking.
