    Exccuuuussseee meee.
    I always put family events before friends parties.
    So given that i decided to do nothing this year and then mum invited me to bbq dinner.. I jumped to it.
    I will be home by 10pm and can get to the gym tomorrow morning :)

    worked killed me. managed to get up for the kids and what not then to the inlaws but crashed around 1pm

    Got a follow up appointment with my back surgeon who gave my my epidural injections and my 2 nerve blocks injections that got me out of hospital.

    I've still got this burning foot sensation cause of my prolapsed disc at l5 s1. Said if there isn't any improvement then they will have to prob do some major surgery which I want to avoid.

    Had anyone had this nerve issue where u feel like u cant feel your foot and it's got a burning sensation, but numb at the same time. So fucking annoying. Plus I'm sick of being on pain killers.

    I live alone so it's quite scary knowing at any moment I might not be able to stand up or even call an ambo if I have to.

    Hey Hardcore, I'm 30. I wouldn't say I'm not a drinker... But I'm definitely an in bed early sort of person. If I'm going to get on it then it will be a day time thing.
    I reckon I drank enough between the age of 18-20 to do me a life time anyway!

    Yeah I was a late bloomer haha did all my drinking in my early 30s. Now with competing for the last 7years my brain is just wired differently now.

    Drinking during the day will definitely put you to bed early haha

    In the gym at 6am on 1st Jan, delts & tris. No fucking around. Body cooperating relatively well now, will take it the the nxt lvl this year. See you at the Mr Oilympia.

    Going back to my usual leg routine of starting every sesh with barbell squats. Have been mixing it up for a while eg extensions and curls first then compounds or hacks and leg press before squats. Getting stronger on all exercises except BB squats and dissatisfied with results. My legs looked the best doing huge volume squats twice a week. If it aint broke don't fix it nomsayin.

    Currently training on crutches atm. Some weird looks from some people and also some thumbs up from people.

    Anyone had to , or seen people workout on crutches b4?

    Gotta do what u gotta do....

    Yup.. Seen a couple.

    Theres a regular at my gym.. But he has a disability, looks like cerebral palsy.
    Credit where credit is due.

    I still see some sniggers and people having a laugh behind my back whilst on crutches at the gym. In this day and age I can't believe that still happens.

    And I'm 110kgs at 6'3. You woukd think people wouldn't make fun , but some people are just born to be immature wankers I suppose.

    i guess you cant deadlift or squat.... So just load up the bench and rep out some heavy weight. If you're 110kg at 6'3 I'm assuming you can load up the bar.... That should shut'em up
