    Hi all,

seeking some bf% estimates after a 5+ year absence from consistent training. I moved out of my physical job into an office and stopped all exercise, filling my time with an engineering degree which is coming to a close in the next few months. Given that timing I have found myself with some spare time as the closing subjects are quite easy..

    Stats:
    Height: 176cm (5'10")
    Weight: 106.7kg (234.7lb)

Also what would you advise I do first?

Starting point: (warning - very thicc boi)

i can't see your pic it didn't work. IMO numbers don't much matter in regards to that. just hit your diet and cardio and if the fat is coming off that's more important. use the mirror.

i've maintained perma-shred condition for many multiple long periods of time on and off over the years, and the absolute last thing on my mind was what % my bodyfat was, all i knew was that i had no fat on my ass and veins in my abs and i was shredded, at guess now i was probably somewhere 6-8% and possibly lower than that at various points.

IF diet, track macros and 1hr of HIIT cardio EOD gets the fat off every time easy like magic.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not frequenting the forum as much unfortunately.

I do from time to time reminisce about the golden era of pre-workouts. Just some of the workouts I was able to do and weight I could move was insane compared to my workouts today.

I know OG Craze, Meso even Hyde are mentioned a lot but that LeCheek Ampitropin may be the best thing to come out onto the market.

I agree these days a non-stim pre will in a lot of cases be just as useful as a stim pre because there's too much garbage on the market.

aha i hear you mate, the thing to me that made amptitropin god tier, is that it allowed me to try out ANY preworkout on the market, if it was shit i just stack it with 2 ampiT, if it was only ok i stack it with 1 ampiT... if it was good i would only use an ampiT with it when i wanted to shoot lasers with my ears.

I find pre's that use the new gen "fancy" stims to be shit personally, i would much rather one with only caffeine or maybe some theacrine too, all of the new stims feel horrible to me, everyone talks about like a euphoric energy and they bundle it with heaps of theanine, the fuck i dont want to nap at gym, i want to destroy.

that's a good question mate, another one would be how are you progressing with your training?
i'm pretty much back into the swing of things again....and loveing it.

started doing no holds barred sparring on the bjj mats as of last week, can't believe how fit you need to be when it gets real, i find myself gasping for breath on a regular basis.

Yea @blindbodybuilder no where near where I was. The operation has me dealing with constant pain. I am not up for any further exploratory work yet. I am happy to go lighter and lower my expectations for now. Sounds like your going great guns there. Lotta cardio with that work eh?

@chrismwpcs great to hear that you are back at it, must be a bit frustrating though when you were pulling such awesome numbers, or are you just glad you can lift again?

time just goes so fast you lose track but hasn't it been about 18 months since the actual incident?

i am doing pretty good, definitely going to end up fit as and also pretty dam lean i reckon.

Yea I am pretty happy I can get my routines down albeit light. Yea 18 months but have chronic pain issues. You tend to get used to it, for want of a better description. Onwards and sideways haha.

    Cheers
    Chris

So true, learning to play with the hand we've been given, or given ourselves is quite an art, one I like to think I know a bit about.
