    Managed to do something to my rib - either bruised or soft tissue damage perhaps cracked but I don't think it's that bad though quite painful. Went to see what I could do today anyways.

    Not entirely sure I think it was a combination of taking a heavy pushkick to the sternum and doing a retarded plate push exercise to failure. Or just getting old and body falling apart haha.

    First time doing any sort of weights since last entry. Rib is slowly recovering staying away from pushing movements from the chest and pull-ups.

    Rib recovery is good I'm probably about 75-80% now - went to sparring for the first time since injury this morning and went well with no injury aggravation.

    Thought I'd give benching a go today (fingers crossed)

    - really good workout probably my best in months if not years - energy felt good and sustained usually I'll be done with squats and trying to get out of there fast as possible but wanted to do some extra stuff - maybe the time off did some good.

    Been doing some experimentation with an all carnivore diet - having pretty good results/experience with it so far. Managed to maintain my weight eating around 3000kcal daily so far. I find my energy throughout the day is much more sustained and constant level. I 'feel' stronger and more mentally sharp/improved cognitive function and libido increased.

    I'll post this podcast that got me onto it (though when I first listened to this it all sounded completely crazy) I've done more research into it beyond this though which I can put up later if anyone is interested.
