I have read very nice suggestions in this thread. I think the running is really good cardio.
triathlon like exercise I think is the best cardio - swim, run, bike.. or perhaps try trail running or uphill biking
I don't think.there is any better form of cardio than the good old jump rope (skipping)
pick up something heavy and walk with it
I'm big for mixing it up if I try doing one type of cardio for more than say 3 or 4 days I get a little bored and it impacts my duration - sometimes I'll leave early etc
So I typically mix it up like so
Day 1 Jog 4kms
Day 2 15m HIIT
DAY 3 Jog 4km
Day 4 jog 2km and 15 min HIIT
Works a treat for me.
Hit fit boxing
2000 mt under 7 mins on the rower
Super set 3 exercises 4 x 8,12,25 reps in rotation
Man eaters, like a burpee but with 15kg dumbbells as many and fast as you can till fail
