    deadlift day

    140kg, 4, 4, 3, 2, 2

    barbell roe supinated
    65kg, 2 x 8

    rdl
    55kg, 2 x 10

    looks like I've reached a weight that is going to slow me down, still pretty good since I've really only been training like this for just over 3 months and only about 9 months on this come back in total.


    didn't feel to good on rows today, may have been because the deads took a fair bit out of me as the last two sets were quite close to a max effort.

    I haven't done rdl's for about a month so took them pretty easy but was happy with how they felt.


    day 41 mk and feel much better at 12.5mg but wondering if dose timing may have been the issue as I did start taking it right before bed as opposed to late afternoon/early evening.

    will experiment next week.

    20kg, 4 x 12

    going to stick with the plan of one workout focussing on heavier weight fewer reps and one with lighter weight and higher reps for chest shoulders tri's.

    legs posterior chain core

    smith machine squat
    125kg, 5 x 3

    hack squat
    80kg, 3 x 7

    45 degree back ext
    35kg, 8, 10, 10

    ghr
    20kg, 2 x 15

    standing cable abs
    40kg, 17, 15, 15

    got all the reps on squat but it was very challenging, not sure if I will go 130 next week, will see how it feels.

    80 on hack was hard particularly getting out of the hole, will concentrate on getting extra reps until I can get at least 3 x 10.

    back ext is going well would have got 10 on the first set but the plates became unbalanced and I had to put them dow, it's a bit of a pain trying to balance multiple plates, going to start using a resistance band on this movement, should be able to get resistance equivalent to well over 40kg using the band and a plate.

    ghr felt good today, will probably start using the band with this movement also.

    felt strong on cable abs probably go 45 next week.



    day 44 mk today had 25mg yesterday and feel good today will see how it goes.

    band tricep push down, blue band
    3 x 15

    extra reps on flat bench, hopefull this approach will continue to yield gains.

    extra reps on incline also

    starting to incorporate my new resistance bands into my training and I really like them.

    used the light one for pull aparts which were done as super sets with post delt raises.

    tricep pushdowns with the blue power band, felt great being able to do pushdowns at home.

    going to look at setting up an anchor set up which will allow me to do some decent squats at home using band resistance.


    day 46 mk and 25mg is going well so far, seems dose timing may have been the issue, will have to give it a few more days before I can be sure but feeling good at this dose at the moment.

    What’s your thoughts on the MK so far mate? Been looking into it the last few days. Seems a bit pricey though!

    So far I think it is worth a try, I feel increased pumps and generally feel nice and full, I am getting strength increase but at this point in my training it is hard to say whether it is due to the mk or not.

    All round I definitely think it is worth giving it a go, I would find it hard to justify the price that most places charge but I am only paying a fraction of the price buy getting the raw powder.

    same weight as last week but they went up considerably better, I am thinking 5 x 5 may be a bit to much at least until they are really going up easy so left it at 3 sets today.



    day 48 mk and looks like 25mg is going ok this time.

    The thing with 5x5 is that you need to match it to (barely) doable weights. Doing 3x5 with 140kg on deads means you're missing out on heaps of volume. Rather pull it back to 5x5 @ 130kg, and you'll be at 140kg again in a blink.

    did this workout with less rest between sets than usual.


    day 49 mk 25mg still going well feels like this dose has kicked things up somewhat so hopefully can stick with i

    just didn't feel strong on squats today, got the first two sets but didn't feel I could keep going so dropped it back to 110 to finich off.

    hacks felt good so pushed for some extra reps.

    used my new band for the first time on back ext and man did it make it challenging.

    day 51 mk pretty confident I can stick with 25mg.

    Seems to be going fine at this dose now, will go another couple of weeks and then decide whether to keep going or have a break.

    decent workout, would have been much happier if I got 3 x 8 on flat bench but at least I got one set of 8, will deload next week and then give it another go.


    day 53 mk feel like I'm getting leaner hope it keeps going.

    pretty good strength increase, got the first set without straps and the rest felt strong.

    not sure what the go is but felt seriously week today, wonder if the deadlifting is getting to be a bit to much now that I am getting to half decent weights, whatever I really needed this deload because 110kg felt like 130 today.

    will go easy all week and hopefully go hard again next week and things will go forward again.

    True I pay bery little attention to the tv, I think my ocd personality is more likely the reason I update my log so regularly...:d

    did free squats today and they went well so very happy about that, I think the first time I tried to do them I didn't have the strength to control them properly and now I do so all going well I will be in the squat rack rather than the smith machine from now on.

    noticed I have been bouncing out of the hole a bit with hacks and have been feeling a bit sore in the knees so went a bit lighter and kept total control, I may just do some lighter squats rather than hacks going forward as I have heard they can do damage to the knees.

    felt week as on cable abs today maybe cause I went so hard on back ext and ghr.

    going to start adding a bit oof lat work on to the end of this workout.
