    I use mixed grip and can static hold 230kg with no straps. The heaviest I have been is 250kg and again with no straps but didn't static hold that one. I don't do overhand grip so not sure if it is better or worse.

    Most can lift more with a mixed grip.

    I have heard lifting double overhand is good for increasing grip strength.
    Impressive lifts by the way mate.

    Yeah that will definitely limit things. I personally work up double overhand as far as I can then switch to hook, but that won't be possible for you on one hand. Although maybe using underhand on your injured hand may help if you're not already doing that? I'm not sure.

    But doing some more lighter reps at the end, or static holds, will help bring your grip up a bit.

    I will try doing some double overhand work and static holds with lighter weight after my 5 x 5 and see how it goes, thanks Venkman and chris.

    12.5kg, 3 x 14

    did alternating bench for something different, was ok for a change but doubt I would do it regularly.

    I will try doing some double overhand work after my 5 x5 and work some static holds in at lighter weights and see how it goes, thanks Venkman and chris.

    reverse hyper extension
    20kg, 20, 20, 15

    ghr

    standing cable abs
    35kg, 3 x 17
    went heavier on squats and was happy with how they felt got nice and deep pretty much every rep but didn't get all the reps so definitely not going any heavier until I get the full 5 x 5.

    extra reps on reverse hypers really challenged me couldn't even get 20 on the last set, bit more work to do on these before going any heavier.

    10kg on ghr was really hard so think it will be a while before I can go heavier on these.

    definitely getting my core stronger.

    Solid work on the GHR. A lot of people struggle with that.

    good workout, finished in just under an hour so pretty happy with the momentum.

    shoulder was a bit sore after going heavy.

    good workout, when I got my form right the deads went up well, not sure if I'll go heavier next time or pull the same weight deficit.

    did the flat bench almost as one giant set and the rest of the workout with 2 min rest between sets.

    going to do the second chest shoulders tris workout with light weight high reps and short rest from now on.

    the aim to change things up a bit and also as I start to get heavier on deads don't want to go to hard next day.

    good workout, improved on just about every movement.
    nearly got my 5x5 on squats and got some extra reps on hack squat.

    25kg on reverse hypers was really challenging won't be going heavier on these for the next couple of workouts at least.

    got extra reps on ghr but don't think i'll go heavier on these just yet either, want to do them with a bit mor control before I go heavier.

    felt strong as on the first set on cable abs smashed out 20 reps but then sort of hit the wall for the next two sets so looks like I won't be going heavier on these just yet either.

    was feeling like shite this morning and not much better when I started this workout so just went light, by the time I finished I was feeling way better, maybe I sweated it out.

    going double overhand for as many of the warm up reps as possible, feel like I am progressing pretty well but my grip is going to be the limiting factor.

    just going to take it as faar as I can without straps and then bite the bullet and use them.

    45 degree back extension

    got all the reps on squat so pretty happy with that, when I get my foot placement right and my form feels tight and right 110 is going up pretty nicely.

    extra reps on hack and felt like I could have even got a couple more....probably should have...oh well next time.

    going to start alternating between back extensions using the 45 degree bench and the back extension machine, haven't worked out what sort of rotation schedule yet.

    really went hard on ghr's today.

    definitely felt stronger on my core work today, probably up the weight next time.

    started MK677, yesterday was my first dose at 12.5mg so haven't got anything to report as yet.

    I am hoping to get some assistance with recovery and to help with my aches and pains anything beyond that will be a bonus, definitely pretty excited to see how it goes.

    going to focuss on lighter weight higher reps for the chest shoulders tri's from now on definitely still look to up the weight when possible but not going to go for sets of less than 10.

    this was an awesome workout, felt a mind muscle connection that was just exciting and same goes for the pump, strength was also up.

    day 4 on mk677 and at this point I am seriously excited.

    as mentioned above the pump I got on this workout was freaking awesome, seriously it was as intense as anything I have experienced before.

    my mind muscle connection was unbelievable and my strength was definitely increased.

    still dosing 12.5mg currently, taking it mid afternoon, I am not getting any of the usual side effects yet, weighed myself and haven't put on any weight so no water retention so far.

    I seem to get a sort of mood lift/increase in energy right after dosing and will continue to experiment with dosing time.

    at this early stage I am seriously excited about this stuff, hopefully things will continue this way.

    good workout felt stronger on all movements.

    next week was going to do a deload week but circumstances led to me only doing 3 sessions/week for the last two weeks running so don't think a deload is required.

    day 7 of mk677 today.
    definitely feel I have gained strength, 120 deads felt easy today and my grip didn't even seem to be an issue.
    my sleep was already good however I definitely seem to be dreaming a lot more which I guess indicates I am getting more rem sleep, definitely feel good when I get up in the morning.
    one thing I am becoming a little concerned about, I seem to be feeling less than 100% in the last few hours before my next dose is due, feel a bit of anxiety and just all around not to good but this seems to quickly resolve when I have my dose.

    I have read that some people get a sort of nootropic effect from mk677 and I appear to be one of them, I am hoping that if I stay on it for a prolonged period that I don't have some sort of withdrawl effect when I stop.

    apart from this concern it has been a very positive first week.

    if you have any handy taking vitamin D and melatonin are supposed to augment the mk677 (you're dosing pre-bed yeah?)

    Interesting, just been doing some reading about vit d, melatonin and gh/igf-1, will grab some vit d asap possibly some zinc also, can prob get my doc to give me some melatonin.
    Thanks for that man, currently been taking it late afternoon/just before bed, have read so much conflicting information about dosing time I am planning on just seeing what works best for me.

    Hey man if you order from Iherb you can get controlled release melatonin without a script, some stores here have it too but more expensive. Also you can get 5000iu or 10000iu vit D without a script from the US. Postage is free if you spend like over $40 so definitely worth it, usually takes about a week to arrive, they have plenty of discount codes you can stack and if you chuck in my code RUL495 it will give you an extra 5% off (i get all my vitamins and protein from here).

    I thought the only melatonin available without a script was the naturopathic stuff, I already grabbed some vit D and zinc but will remember to check out that place for next time, thanks again.

    moving things around a bit this week seeing as I did deads on sunday didn't want to do squats on Tuesday.

    really good workout, keeping the reps high went up to 30kg on flat bench and it felt pretty light though I did run out of gas on the third set.

    inclines felt really good and got good reps

    pretty much ready to go heavier on my lateral and post delt raises.

    skullcrushers felt strong and will definitely go up in weight next time I do these.

    day 9 on mk677 today still likeing it but nothing new to report today.

    have started adding 40mg of zinc and 3000iu of vit D to the protocol thanks to a tip from scump.

    will have a think about whether to add melatonin or save that for another time, hopefull even the zinc and vit D might kick things up another notch.

    as a result of moving things around this week couldn't get to the gym so had to do what I could manage at home with no squat rack.

    stikll feel like I got a decent workout.

    day 10 on mk677, got a bit of tingles in my hands last night, shoulder is feeling better this could be placebo time will tell.
