ive just started riding some distance around melbourne. nothing massive but ive done city to frankston and back two times and ive done city to altona, altona to marybinong (all one trip) and city to williamstown then williamstown to marybinong (also one trip) i begin my rides fasted, stay fasted for about 1hr then further into the journey i consume glucose + aminos or wpi + gel packets. is there a better way where i could burn fat but still be fueled enough for the ride? i am also incorporating sprints on the bike. so need to perform well but still be able to burn fat.
