Man you did that easily. How much was on the bar?

310. Some of the spotters were encouraging me to have a go at 350, but comp is on 7/4. It would be silly to injure myself now. Thoughts are to go 310-330-350/60
Damn fine lifts man. I reckon you would breeze in 350. Looking bloody good. And yea injuries now would be a p!sser...
bit unstable comming out of the mono. might need to work out that mate. But great lift, you made it look like play weights.
Amazing numbers, fully inspiring, can't wait to here what you achieve in the comp.
Not as much as I hoped for. Also, almost died under 330...
Comp lift felt a lot more stable, although it was my second attempt. First lift I was a bundle of nerves
I'm still pretty chuffed considering I've only ever tried >300 4 times, and nailed 2 of them. Woulda gone 320 for my 3rd attempt but I knew my deadlift was going to be feeble so pushed for silly 3rds.
Went 310/195/230 for a 735 total. Failed 3rds were 330/205/250.
Walked away with silver joowleries for 2nd in SHW, an invite to GPC Nationals and the Aussie 3-lift bench record for Masters 2.
Don't sell yourself short, and put in the work. You'll get it done. What was last wilk?
Next time mate, would you have won it if you pulled the kind of deadlift that you have done at your best.
What you achieved still sounds pretty bloody good anyway.
OMG well done mate! ! Jesus when you think about who you were 3 years ago and the journey you have been on. So proud of you mate. And such a great result!!!! ! We'll done!!
Bit late man but congrats on the comp. Man those lifts looked easy as fuck, I’m surprised you didn’t get the 3rd lifts!
Thanks mate. Third squat attempt @330 was never going to happen - I unracked the bar way off center. Looking at the vid, I kinda expected the rear spotter to correct that, but it's a lesson learned.
Bench and deadlifts were affected by a wonky right forearm causing a loss of grip strength. I actually couldn't deadlift 120kg about a month before the comp, so 230 was a bit of a miracle. Also, I failed on my first go at 230, with the bar slipping into my fingers. Same happened on my 3rd attempt at 250. My coach and I were actually debating whether or not to do another dead after the 230.
Good news is I pulled a very easy 270 tonight and my grippage has returned.
Still looking the goods there man. Strong as a farking ox!
Thanks bud. I thought the 310 was pretty average, but if you look at https://www.openpowerlifting.org/rankings/45-49/by-squat it puts me in the top 60 in the world ever for >45's 330 would be top 30
Man that is awesome. Well I reckon you will be there soon they way you are going. Care for top 10?
