    Hey,

Recently broke my pair of headphones at the gym, where just a pair of knock off Bluetooth beats i got while away in Asia. Wondering if anyone could recommend a decent pair of wireless/Bluetooth headphones for the gym?

Was gonna get the Bluetooth solo 2 beats but the price seems a bit steep.

Anyone used the gripped fitness headphones? About $90 from america, cant seem to find any reviews on them that aren't posted on their website :S

    Thanks

I've got a pair of Plantronics Backbeat Fit, which is nice and light. It doesn't fully immerse you in music though, which apparently is part of the design, to prevent joggers and cyclists from getting run over because they can't hear the truck.

I dig them. They don't budge, and I often forget that I'm wearing them. Good quality and battery life too.

For cardio sessions or when I'm not going to be lying down/ben dover, I use these Monster iSport Freedoms:

They're mostly rubber and plastic, so you just wipe away the sweat. Was on sale via Catch of the Day for little money.

Second the bluedios! Don't like the in ear one's so much they fall out but the over the head one's are awesome. Get them from the bluedio store on ebay and the service is fabulous as well. Anything goes wrong they have a new pair on the way straight away.

Good move. Only black people can get away with flamboyant colours.

You get what you pay for I guess. I have the Beats Studio Matt Black but yeah they aren't cheap. Think they cost the wife $450!

    Incredible sound and bluetooth range.

Cheers for all the feedback, ended up just going with Beats solo 2 wireless, managed to score just over $100 off. Bluedio looked good but not being able to walk into a shop and test out for that much money turned me away a bit.

Surprised after checking out a few shops, not really a selection for on/over ear headphones for the gym. Most look so fragile and something out of a sci-fi movie

Another beauty of Beats is that they are covered by the one year warranty with Apple.
I have Plantronics Bluetooth and they are awesome on my motorbike, but in my opinion no good for the Gym.
Skull Candy are crap in my opinion, I bought a pair last year and took them back........complete rubbish, but their aftersales was good as I returned them and got another pair, but they were still poor, no bottom end at all.

thirty odd years of playing in bands and music production, I like to think I know a little bit about audio.

Would have to disagree with that. Beats are not quality IMO. Missus beats hinges snapped on her beats. Went to jb and apparently common fault. Whicb is fine as most things have common fauots.

But Listened to some Bose headphones and quality shat all over the beats.

I've had beats all sorts of expensive headphones only use them for gym. I end up breaking them pretty quickly. Now I buy $15 a pair ones from China and buy 10-20 at a time. Even if they only last 3-6months I'm happier breaking these fuckers then $700 headphones

Don't they become soggy? And what colour singlet do you match them with?

Nice. I got one black and one white pair, so it will match all the clothes I own. Cannot risk getting too fashionable if you're a colourblinder like me :(
