    Hi,

In a bit of a predicament, In November of last year, I suffered a tear in my stomach lining that was pretty substantial. Lead to anaemia from blood loss and me not being able to eat anything for 2+ weeks. Went from 84kg @ 12% bf to 80kg and unsure about body fat. 181cms if that helps

Basically, as soon as I came out of theatre and was hooked up to painkillers i was eating clocking at 9000cals on one day of mostly carbs. Was justified as couldn't eat anything too heavy yet opiates increased appetite immensely(compounded with the fact simple carbs arent satiating).

Now Ive been cleared to train again but im at 76kg at 20%+ and I have no idea how to proceed.

In everyone's opinion would it be best advised to lose some of the extra bf first or to try and get my strength back up to pre-injury levels?
