Hey guys. Started a cycle (test e, deca and d bol) recently with pretty low T levels. Test at 9.5 and free test at 169.9. Because of such low t levels will I still be able to keep a lot of the gains I make or is it a waste of time n cash? I’m nearly 31 and done a few cycles before but only started getting bloods done in the last year stupidly. Any help would be good. Cheers

    Hey mate,

No offense, though wouldn't you think it would have been wise to ask that question before you started the cycle?

I’ve only just started it yesterday. I’ve never done bloods much and went back to the dr yesterday for something else and got my results from him from my blood test I got done in March just to have a look. I remember him saying verbally I was fine and in range back in March but when I was looking at the results last night it’s got me in the bottom part of the ok range for test and not even in the ok range for free test so I don’t know why he’s told me in March I was ok. That’s why I started. A bit stupid yes.

Those numbers were my results in March, they probably haven’t changed much ... the cycles I’ve done in the past have been good but I did lose a lot of the gains over time but it’s a mixture of not training, tbh jail time (no free weights and poor nutrition) and depression. But now I’ve got my head around everything and on track and even knocked my mrs up, training 5-6 days a week so I’m hoping that I can cope with the low test and levels when I come off and keep the gains if I train hard and do a good pct which I will

I’m pretty much hoping that the reasons I’ve lost the gains in the past is because of the reasons I’ve stated above and not cos of the low natural test levels that I have...

Lower test is not the only reason.
    Diet,
    Training,
    Consistancy and commitment,
    Life style.

    All these play a factor.

I’ve had a bad run with all of those but like I said I’ve got my head around a lot of shit that’s taken toll on my life so I’ll smash this cycle and do a good pct and hoping to keep most the gains I’ll make and not shrink cos of low test levels

He has told you in March that your okay because your Total Test is within range, even though your Free Test is low. This can very easily happen and its happened to me as well.

You really need Free Test for Anabolism and DHT for Male Characteristics. So you need both in order to feel 100% or close too.

Sorry to hear about your jail time etc, happens to many people unfortunately.

Glad to hear your back on track now, stay focused and strong and don't veer off the right path;)

You should correct your test levels after the cycle instead of living with low test levels. Since it is your free test that is low, i would suggest looking into compounds that boost free test levels e.g. Proviron and Anavar(5mg is all thats needed to boost free test levels) and probably a heap of other compounds too. Try Proviron first though as its the safest.

When your test levels drop low, so does your estrogen and hgh. So a loss of muscle mass is a combination of different hormones that are lagging e.g. Test, Estrogen, HGH, Insulin. Those 4 hormones are the major anabolic hormones in the body. Of course there are other hormones that also play a part in Anabolism, though they don't act to the same degree of the 4 main hormones i mentioned.

Thanks for the info mate. I have some pharma var I brang back with me from Thailand so I will use that toward the end. All in all tho to answer my question would I still be able to keep most the gains I make when my feed test goes from sky high to back to around 169 or lower? This was my test btw even the fai is low :(

u can keep most when coming off,
but that also depends what stage you are at...
most ppl will not have reached their natural genetic peak before cycling,
most ppl wont reach mass monster pro bodybuilder status.

theres a certain limit your body will be able to maintain/build naturally.
so im certain you havnt reached that limit yet and so will be possible to hold most of your gains if done right.

but at the end of the day, you wont look or feel like you do when on gear but you will at least look better than before you started.

    Too easy.

No you won't keep all the gains if your lacking Anabolism. Anabolism can be brought about by Test, Estro, HGH and Slin like i previously mentioned. You can have low test but be using HGH and therefore still be in an Anabolic State and thus keep your muscle. Do you understand what i'm saying? Testosterone is only one anabolic hormone, there are many others too choose from. Though most people are uneducated on hormones so they always lean toward Testosterone as the be all and end all.

That’s the sorta answer I was hoping for. The way I am seeing it tho is that once ya come off cycle and ya go back to a lower than normal free test level ya shrink rapidly. But even with the low free test levels I have managed to get my deadlift up to 2.2 times my body weight training naturally so hopefully after cycle I can still do that easily

Yep I understand what you are saying I think. I know I won’t keep all the gains, but hoping to be quite a lot stronger than I am now 3 months after pct and beyond...

More than likely you will be stronger after the cycle. And like Hashish said: diet, lifestyle, training etc etc all play a big factor in how much mass you keep etc.

Muscle mass isn't directly related to the amount of muscle you hold though. I ran multiple cycles and never did a pct. Then stopped gear and just kept training hard for years.

Had my test levels checked a few years ago and they were around 10...which is on the low end. But I still looked quite muscular. So if you train hard and eat good you will still hold size for sure.
