Been thinking about it and besides lifting I don't do much physically, used to love hockey and skating, thinking about buying a new pair of skates, getting awesome and back into the league. Shit thing I read that it's virtually 'no contact', full cages have to be worn etc.. really upped the anti on safety when it came to Aussies on ice!

What sport do you play?

No team sports & nothing regular.
Did bjj very briefly. Would like to get back into it but I do shift work & have 2 kids under 5 (& I tend to make excuses...)
I've done 1 tough mudder & am registered to do another.
I do a bit of running.
That's about it.

Aussie rules and tennis were my sports growing up. Gave them both away a few years ago but still play a bit of tennis on the odd occasion...would probably destroy that hack SighK :p
Play a bit of mixed netball in a comp with some workmates and try to get out to the golf course every couple of weeks.

Grew up always playing sports. Played soccer when I was a whippersnapper, then hockey from when I was 11-14, and then Futsal up until I left school.
However as soon as I joined the workforce all sport just went out the window :( and thats the whole reason I started lifting. I wanted to get back into doing something physical, but in my own time without having to be social (hahaha its true).

Tennis.

But I've put it in hold for the time being so I can concentrate on weight training.

May get back into playing in October when the Lawn tennis competition begins.

^^ Lol I can imagine footy would be shithouse for someone used to a non contact sport that hands out logies for the best actors at the end of the season.

I played cricket quite a bit growing up, at one point trained for an elite squad in perth but could never make the next step. admittedly didnt have half the natural talent of most other guys, just loved belting some leather with english willow :)
Played footy in the off season like everyone else, just for fun with mates more than anything but know a fair few guys playing AFL now including one of my best mates as a kid. Also played hockey on both grass/astroturf, used to dominate hard at that! lol

running 1500 & 3000mtrs at representative level, netball, tennis and 7's
played union until i fractured my c3 and c4, stopped playing all sport for a while, got freaked out about getting hurt. Joined up to play mixed basketball broke my ankle in the first game and never went back.
zen do kai up until i started weights last year, i do miss the team spirit and camaraderie(?) but between work, my training and a young fella who has now started to play sports doesn't leave much time to join a team anymore

played aussie rules for about 15 years. played basketball for the last 20 years and still going. recently did muay thai for about 18 months. was into long distance running for a while, did a couple of marathons recently but started losing too much weight, plus running 50km a week to train is extremely boring and deteriorating on your body. I think marathons are made for 50kg little black guys not 93kg big white guys.

just came back to my childhood aussie rules club for preseason.
theyve hired a fitness pro for monday night training, which is handy, because it showed me i need alot more work on my core.
the problem is the second training night of the week, every now and then is a lifting circuit for 30mins non stop. and the combinations of the circuit, the frequency of rest, the rep counts and lack of hydration are crazy to me. it also doesnt help that i have a strict lifting schedule for my week on top of this, how can i tell my coach that the circuits he has us running are most likely going to cause an injury, without coming off like an arse

Did a bit of martial arts here and there kick boxing, bjj, tung tsu do. Was never in to team sports. Been mostly lifting for a decade now. Want to take up MMA again. I miss it. No time at the moment. Looking to go back to uni to study medicine, so that's the main focus.
